The Australian Council of Independent Vocational Colleges Limited (ACIVC) is a peak industry association (established in 1976) representing private sector education providers primarily in the Vocational and Technical Education Sector in metropolitan and regional Australia. The main objectives of the Council are:

• To promote consultation and co-operation between member colleges
• To foster efficiency and the improvement in education and ethical standards of independent colleges
• To express to governments, other authorities and bodies and the public, the views of the Council
• To work with regulatory bodies to establish policy which may impact upon the operations of member colleges

ACIVC is governed by a Board of Directors who are representatives of member institutions elected annually by the members.
